  • We have limited parking spots reserved for members in a lot behind the House. Prior to parking, simply hang your CH parking tag from your rearview mirror. Parking tags will be distributed in your Member Welcome Pack upon your first visit to the House. The lot is available during club hours only and use of the lot is at your own risk. The lot will be locked at the end of each day.

Parking validation is available for members in the CARTA Garage at the Chattanooga Choo Choo on 1398 Market Street. Pull a ticket at the garage, get a validated ticket at Concierge, and insert both tickets into the machine when you’re ready to leave.

Please avoid parking on both Mitchell Avenue and Underwood Street, as it’s reserved for our neighbors and residents of Fort Negley. If you choose to go green and ride your bike to the House, you will find a bike rack by the Mitchell Avenue entrance.

Member Check-In & Guests

  • Reservations are not needed to access the House and we welcome all on a first come, first served basis. We do, however, recommend that you make reservations for dining and require reservations to book hourly coworking or conference room space.

Navigate to the "Dining" or "Book a Space" portions of the member portal to make reservations for dining or conference rooms. Additionally, reservations are required for most Programming Events (aka our Goings On).

  • Guests of members are always welcome in the House, but must be greeted and accompanied with a member at all times. We just ask that you call ahead and make a reservation if you'll be bringing three or more guests. Prior to visiting, please have your guests review our Common Law guidelines that outline House conduct expected of all visitors. We have a separate pool guest policy that can be reviewed under the "Around the House" section below.

Each member receives a paper key in their membership packet to give out to someone to enjoy the house for a day. The paper key allows access to the entire House for one person without accompanying a member. Please note: paper key recipients may not bring additional guests with them to the House.

  • We are a 21+ club. However, kiddos are welcome to join us in the dining room during brunch on Saturdays from 10-2pm.

  • Though we love our furry friends, we ask that you leave them at home. Trained service animals only are allowed in the House.

Around the House

  • Our in-House restaurant offers menus that pull influence from the building's Italian architecture and source the very best local ingredients. To view the current menu, navigate to our Dining page. Reservations are encouraged and can be made through the member portal or by contacting Concierge.

  • Common House Chattanooga has a heated, lap length outdoor pool. No lifeguard will be on duty, so we ask that you swim at your own risk and refrain from diving. Those under 21 are not allowed in the pool or pool area. Pool towels are provided.

In an effort to ensure all our members can access and enjoy the pool, especially on the weekends, we’ve made an update to our guest policy for the pool specifically. Each season, members can pick up 10 guest passes (aka pool tokens) for non-member guests to join you at the pool. On weekends and holidays, one token per guest (up to two guests) will be required. M-F, however, members can bring up to two guests without having to redeem tokens.

How does it work? Once you arrive, your guest will exchange a pool token for a wristband at Concierge to enjoy the pool for the day. If you’d like to bring more than two guests with you, please call Concierge in advance. Finally, the pool tokens will be available for pick-up at Concierge starting May 20. And don't worry, if you run out, you can purchase more from Concierge for $20/token.

Finally, as a reminder, members and their guests are expected to adhere to the Common Law guidelines, outlined here.

In an effort to streamline the reservation process, the Cabanas are now available on a first come, first served basis. We ask that you be respectful of others and mindful of time spent in the Cabanas.

  • Our in-House fitness studio is equipped with two elliptical machines, two treadmills, two rowers, two bikes, free weights, and TRX equipment. Personal lockers, showers and steam rooms are also available. No reservations are required, but we will be limiting capacity to ensure proper social distancing. As part of our wellness program, we will also be bringing in the community's best fitness instructors to lead a variety of classes.

  • Treat yourself to a staycation and enjoy one of our modern guest rooms. Choose between six rooms or one deluxe suite, complete with a large living area, bathtub and king bed. Both members and non-members alike may reserve rooms, but both preference and a discount is given to members. To reserve a room, proceed to our booking website.

  • Our coworking floor is equipped with everything you need to work for the day, entertain clients, and everything in between. For quick calls and Zooms, we have four phone booths. We also have three conference rooms that are available to book through the membership portal for an hourly rate. If you’re looking to book an all day meeting or reserve a space for 10+ guests, please reach out to our Director of Events, Rebecca. Please note: no outside food or beverage is allowed in the House.

Programming & Private Events

  • We host a regular slate of in-House programming, wellness classes, podcast demos, maker classes, wine tastings, networking luncheons, and more for our members and their guests. RSVPs are frequently required, so head on over to our member portal to sign up.

  • Our event spaces are versatile for both indoor and outdoor celebrations. For more information, please reference the private events section of our website, or reach out to our Director of Events, Savannah.

Miscellaneous

  • You can access and change the billing info for your membership at any time by going to your account page under “My Membership” in the member portal. If you need to pause or cancel your membership, please give us a call at (423) 771-9925 or email our Membership Director, Taylor.

  • Firearms, drugs, tobacco, cigarettes, and vaporizers are strictly prohibited at the House, including in our exterior areas. Please refrain from bringing in outside food or beverages. Prior to visiting the House, please reference our Common Law page.

  • We openly handle several allergens throughout our clubs, including dairy, soy, tree nuts (e.g., almond, coconut, etc.), eggs, wheat, and others. While we take precautions to keep ingredients separate, we cannot guarantee that any of our beverages or foods are allergen free as we use shared equipment to store, prepare and serve them. Examples of shared equipment include the espresso machine steam wand, cutting boards, and fryer oil. Please consult your doctor if you have questions about food allergies, so that you can make the decision that is right for you. Please inform your server of any food allergies or sensitivities prior to placing your order.
