FAQs

Richmond FAQ’s

Arrival

  • 303 W. Broad Street
    Richmond, VA 23220

    (804) 525-9320

  • The CH2 lot (1st & Grace) is your best bet. As a part of membership, you will receive a CH parking hang tag that you can use in the 24/7 access lot on 90 E. Grace Street. There are 24 designated spots that are demarcated: “CH.” Please ensure that your hang tag is visible on your rearview mirror.

Additional overflow parking spaces are available during garage hours in VCU's 200 N. Henry St. deck. In order to utilize this deck, simply print your VCU-issued parking permit at home or swing by Concierge to pick one up (please note that these are re-issued monthly). Please also plan to keep your Common House-issued hang tag visible, as that’s how we ensure parking is reserved for members only.

There is also ample free street parking on Franklin, Grace, Broad, Marshall, and Clay Streets. We also suggest these alternatives that are proximal to the House:

    • 1 E. Grace St: 0.3 miles away, $5/daily max

    • 100 W. Grace St: 0.2 miles, $7/daily max

    • 20 W. Grace St: 0.2 miles, $5/daily max

    • 106 E Marshall St: 0.6 miles, $8/daily max

    * As a note, we recommend downloading the ParkMe app to show you real-time parking availability, as well as the ability to make a parking reservation well in advance.

Member Check-In & Guests

  • Reservations are not needed to access the House and we welcome all on a first come, first served basis. We do, however, recommend that you make reservations for dining and require reservations for the Screening Room, Wine Cellar, and to book hourly coworking or conference room space. Additionally, reservations are required for most Programming Events.

  • Guests of members are always welcome in the House. We just ask for advance notice (30+ minutes) for groups larger than five so that we may adequately accommodate the party size. Prior to visiting, please have your guests review our Common Law guidelines that outline House conduct expected of all visitors.

  • We are a 21+ club. However, kiddos are welcome to join us for Brunch on Saturday and Sundays.

  • Though we love our furry friends, we ask that you leave them at home. Trained service animals only are allowed in the House.

Around the House

  • Our full-service menu and craft cocktails can be enjoyed anywhere within the House. Depending on the time of day, we offer a variety of menus, including: Breakfast, Brunch, Midday, and Dinner. View our menus here.

  • We hope you enjoy our rooftop pool with family and friends. Please no running, jumping, diving, or glass in the pool. Because no lifeguard is on duty, please be mindful of safe swimming practices. While we love our kiddos, those under 21 are not allowed in the pool outside of special programming events. Also, please BYOT (Bring Your Own Towel).

  • Our coworking floors are equipped with everything you need to work for the day, entertain clients, and everything in between. For quick calls and Zoom meetings, we have four phone booths. For a more private space, we offer private office rentals and also have three conference rooms that are available to book through the membership portal for an hourly rate.

If you’re looking for either a corporate membership rate, or to reserve a private office, contact our Director of Membership, Kasie. To book an all-day meeting or reserve a space for 10+ guests, please reach out to our Director of Events, Liz.

  • We have a private Mother’s Room, located on the second floor by the Kitchen.

Programming & Private Events

  • We host a regular slate of in-House programming, wellness classes, podcast demos, maker classes, wine tastings, networking luncheons, and more. RSVPs are frequently required, so head on over to our member portal to sign up. If you have ideas on potential programming collaborations, reach out.

  • Our event spaces are versatile for both indoor and outdoor celebrations. For more information, please reference the private events section of our website, or reach out to our Events Director, Liz.

Miscellaneous

  • Full pricing for all membership types is listed on the membership page.

  • You can access and change the billing info for your membership at any time by going to your account page under “My Membership” in the member portal. If you need to pause or cancel your membership, please email our Membership Director, Kasie, or give us a call at (804) 525-9320.

  • Firearms, drugs, cigarettes, and vaporizers are strictly prohibited at the House, including in our exterior areas. Prior to visiting the House, please reference our Common Law page.

  • We openly handle several allergens throughout our clubs, including dairy, soy, tree nuts (e.g., almond, coconut, etc.), eggs, wheat, and others. While we take precautions to keep ingredients separate, we cannot guarantee that any of our beverages or foods are allergen free as we use shared equipment to store, prepare and serve them. Examples of shared equipment include the espresso machine steam wand, cutting boards, and fryer oil. Please consult your doctor if you have questions about food allergies, so that you can make the decision that is right for you. Please inform your server of any food allergies or sensitivities prior to placing your order.
