Common House Rules & Regulations
HOURS. For current hours visit www.commonhouse.com/chattanooga.
GUESTS. Guests of members are always welcome. We just ask for advance notice if your group includes more than four people. Before visiting, please have your guests review our Common Law guidelines, which outline the conduct expected of all visitors. While many events are complimentary for members, some require tickets for guest participation—check your member portal for details. All guests must check in with Concierge upon arrival.
KIDS. Currently, members must be 21+ to join Common House. However, kiddos are welcome to join us on weekends for brunch and family friendly events.
PRIVATE PARTIES. From time to time areas of the House may be reserved for private dining or events. We will ensure you are notified of any schedule changes or closures via email as well as posting signage well in advance.
FOOD & BEVERAGE. Our full service menu and craft cocktails can be enjoyed anywhere within the House. Please refrain from bringing in outside food or beverages. If you are vegan, paleo, gluten-free or have other dietary needs, give us a heads-up - we have got you covered.
CONDUCT. Members are required to abide by the unwritten rules of courtesy, dignity, and good conduct. Every member is responsible for the actions and behavior of their guests. A complaint against any member or guest alleging an infraction of the House Rules or conduct should be submitted to our membership team (membership@commonhouse.com).
Common House follows a one-warning policy and has the right to refuse service and terminate membership at any time. The following instances would not fall under the one-warning policy and would be subject to immediate termination of membership: harrassment, discrimination, and/or unwanted physical contact.
PROHIBITED ITEMS. Firearms, drugs, cigarettes, and vaporizers are strictly prohibited at the House, including exterior areas.
PETS. Though we love our furry friends, we ask that you leave them at home.Trained service animals only are allowed in the House.
PERSONAL PROPERTY. Members and guests are responsible for their personal property, and found items can be retrieved from Concierge (found items unclaimed for three months will be donated to charity).
CANCELLATIONS. Please reach out to membership@commonhouse.com for cancellation inquiries.
Annual Memberships: Memberships are annual commitments, and are in effect for one year from the Effective Date and are automatically renewed for the upcoming year unless Member notifies the Club’s Membership Manager, not less than thirty (30) days prior to the anniversary date of their renewal date. If Member fails to give the written notice of its intent not to renew, then Member shall remain fully liable pursuant to the Agreement for the Membership Dues associated with the applicable Renewal Term. Decisions regarding early termination or suspension of Membership will be determined by CH, in its sole and absolute discretion.
REJOINING. If an individual requests to rejoin the House within 12 months of cancelling their original membership, they can do-so by either paying back the monthly dues missed while away or repaying the initiation fee, whichever is the lesser amount.
REFUNDS. Common House does not issue refunds on dues or initiation fees after you submit your membership application. Unless there was a mistake with your billing, refunds are not issued if members do not utilize the House in any matter.
